As a group of pharmacy professionals and local residents within the communities of Evergreen and Bridlewood, we were concerned that there was no existing compounding pharmacy that provides both regular and compounding prescriptions in all of our surrounding communities. Compounding pharmacies are a mix of community, local, and compounding pharmacies that are paramount to ensure providing the proper regular and customized medications when and where there is a need.
That is why we decided to start Evergreen Compounding Pharmacy – Remedy’sRx in the new, nice, and cozy plaza (that contains Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Mr. Lube, 7-Eleven, Eversyde Medical Clinic, and other stores) on 2505 Eversyde Avenue SW in Calgary, AB, which is also across 162 Avenue SW, Calgary, from the Bridlewood community.

If you live in Evergreen or Bridlewood or any of our neighbouring communities and have diabetes whether it is newly diagnosed or an old diagnosis, Evergreen Compounding Pharmacy – Remedy’Rx will provide you with your diabetes medications and will also offer you to meet with our certified diabetic educator (which is also a licensed pharmacist). Compression stockings
Some people who need to stand or sit a lot may be diagnosed with varicose veins which are swollen, twisted veins that could have a blue or green colour under the skin. For those people (and preferably before they got it) a physician may prescribe a custom compression sock or stocking to introduce a calculated pressure on those affected veins (or as a precautionary measure) to prevent them from spreading, or decrease the pain, or even prevent it to begin with. Evergreen Compounding Pharmacy – Remedy’sRx has trained and certified pharmacists who can take your foot and leg measurements and get perfect-fit compression stockings for you in collaboration with Sigvaris (a known compression socks manufacturer).
Smoking cessation
Lots of Albertans want to quit smoking but they don’t know how to or what the steps are. Our pharmacy will work with you to help you quit smoking through different approaches. First, we can provide smoking cessation counselling on a case-by-case basis. We can discuss with you the concepts of triggers and coping strategies, and create a step-by-step plan that is tailored for you. Second, our pharmacy will provide you with Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRTs). Those could include patches, gum, lozenges, and other different forms of NRTs. Third, sometimes you may need a prescription for a medication which will help control your nicotine cravings. We will work with your doctor to dispense and fill those prescribed medications, and even deliver them to you FREE of charge if you want. Finally, we will follow up with you on how you implemented your smoke cessation plan and if there is anything that needs modification. Finally, we can look into other options or referrals as needed by your case.
